Phoenix Motion Control

The Phoenix Motion Control is equipped with an integrated active microwave motion sensor. This Microwave sensor only needs movement to be able to detect. This technology is much more sensitive than PIR, it detects tiny movements. The Sensor also detects through glass, wood and thin walls. This ensures that there are no undetectable areas behind, for example, partition walls. The sensitivity of the radar is adjustable. If the luminaire does not detect a presence during an adjustable period (hold-time), the light level and power consumption are reduced to an adjustable reduced energy-saving value. The fixture is supplied in a standard "default setting", these settings can easily be changed using the DIP switches which can be changed after opening the cover of the sensor.

When the Phoenix Motion detects movement within its detection range, the luminaires light up to 100% from the set energy-saving dimming value.
If the Phoenix Motion does not detect any movement during the set "Hold time", the light level and power consumption are reduced to the set value.
